Yearly Meeting, 2011

I'm hoping we come away from Yearly Meeting, 2011 with some fresh vision for planting churches. It seems like the more I have conversations about 10by2020, the more I am aware of the possibilities all around us for planting churches. I keep running into people who are like-minded and always seem to wonder if these are people whom God has purposely put in my path for the sake of planting churches. Perhaps you've found the same to be true.

I think God is still making us aware of the need and directing us to His methods. I think he is still giving us vision and building a district with united hearts. I think he is preparing us for a fresh move of His Spirit. I feel like we are sitting in a raft, on a rocky creek, waiting for the waters to rise. My hope for the rising water is very, very real.
